Released in 2019 by the independent studio The Gentlebros, Cat Quest II is the sequel to the beloved 2017 indie hit Cat Quest . While the first game was a solo adventure about a lone feline avenger, the sequel expands its paws into new territory: a co-op, dual-kingdom adventure that cleverly blends action-RPG mechanics with accessible, family-friendly charm.

Think of it as a “lighthearted, furry Diablo ” meets the exploration of The Legend of Zelda —but without the punishing difficulty or complex loot systems. The game takes place in the shared world of Felingard (the cat kingdom) and the newly introduced Lupus Empire (the dog kingdom).
