Leo stares at a machine full of fluffy PURPLE DRAGONS. The claw hangs limply, defeated.

He slaps the side of the machine. A maintenance guy (MARV, 50s, dead-eyed) glances over.

MARV I just did.

Leo freezes.

Leo holds the dragon. For the first time, he looks genuinely humbled.

LEO Your machine is rigged.

Marv locks the glass. Pockets the key. He pulls out his phone—shows Leo a live feed of 12 different claw machines across the arcade. Leo stares at a machine full of fluffy PURPLE DRAGONS

Bystander KID (8) watches, clutching three smaller dragons.

MARV A plant. I put it in every machine I service. The claw is programmed to never grab that one. Grip strength zero.

LEO You’re... trolling me.

KID You’re zero for two.
