He nods to the SPK. Agents move forward to arrest him. But before they reach him, Light grabs a shard of metal from the floor—a desperate, final attempt to write a name in his own blood.

Mikami freezes. Light’s smile falters for a fraction of a second.

Matsuda, the youngest of the Task Force, steps forward. His hand is trembling. In his other hand, he holds a black notebook. "Looking for this, Light?" Light Yagami

Mikami stammers, his devotion turning to horror. "I… I did. The names… they died. The news confirmed it."
