Executive Summary The visual identity of Pertamina’s gas stations (SPBU) is critical for brand recognition, safety communication, and regulatory compliance. The primary font used across all Pertamina SPBU signage is Pertamina Sans , a proprietary, customized version of the open-source Lato font. This report details the official font specifications, prohibited alternatives, and the legal consequences of non-compliance. 2. Background Pertamina (PT Pertamina (Persero)) undertook a major rebranding initiative in 2018–2019 to modernize its image and transition from the legacy “Pertamina Way” to the “One Pertamina” branding strategy. As part of this overhaul, all physical assets—including 7,800+ SPBU nationwide—were required to update their signage to a unified typographic standard.
