I’ve read all 25 volumes of High School DxD twice. I know Issei’s internal screaming by heart. So when I saw an audiobook version floating around (official JP drama CDs + a few ambitious English fan projects), I thought: “How bad could this be?” Spoiler: It’s both better and worse than you imagine.
