Invincible - Season 3- Episode 3 -
The B-plot follows Rex trying to be a better person after his near-death in season two. His awkward attempts to apologize to Shrinking Rae and Kate are genuinely touching, and his banter with Immortal provides some much-needed levity. The show has done a remarkable job turning Rex from a one-note jerk into a flawed but trying hero.
This is a quiet episode by Invincible standards — no decapitations, no city-leveling brawls, no Omni-Man speeches. But it’s essential viewing. The show is finally digging into the psychological toll of being a superhero when your own father tried to kill you. The new costume may be sleek, but the real story is the broken kid inside it.
