"Memories of Murder" (Korean: Salinui Chueok ) is a 2003 South Korean film directed by Bong Joon-ho. Its official English title is . The film is widely considered one of the greatest crime dramas ever made, and it's loosely based on Korea's first confirmed serial murder case (the Hwaseong murders, which remained unsolved until 2019, after the film's release).
