I just picked up an older alloy analyzer. It powers on, but I don’t have the original user manual. I’ve searched Thermo’s website (looks like they’ve purged legacy docs for this model) and tried the usual manual libraries, but no luck.
Please keep discussions of radiation safety serious. The XLt 898 contains a shielded X-ray tube (not a radioactive isotope, so no NRC license required in the US – but still dangerous).
