You could still use an N8 as a dedicated DAP (Digital Audio Player) with a custom EQ baked into the firmware. You could turn it into a baby monitor via the HDMI out. In 2024, the Nokia N8 custom firmware scene is a digital ghost town. The file hosts (RapidShare, Megaupload) are gone. The forum attachments are broken. But the spirit remains.
