The Plot The story follows Om Shastri (Rajat Kapoor), a wealthy, NRI businessman from New Jersey who is on the verge of bankruptcy thanks to the recession. He returns to his ancestral village in Uttar Pradesh to sell his property. Enter the local "gangster with a conscience," Munna (Manoj Bajpayee in a masterclass of deadpan comedy), who has kidnapped a local landlord for ransom.
