Robert Fludd (1574–1637) was an English physician, astrologer, and prominent Rosicrucian apologist. His magnum opus, Utriusque Cosmi Historia (The Metaphysical, Physical, and Technical History of the Two Worlds, the Greater and the Lesser), published in five volumes between 1617 and 1624, is one of the most encyclopedic and visually stunning works of Renaissance esotericism.
